Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were decent, but I experienced some issues with noise and the room not being locked securely. The hotel location was convenient for exploring the city, although there were some drawbacks with the services offered.
The hotel was nice, clean, spacious, and matched the pictures on booking. However, the rooms came with small windows and views onto walls only, making it difficult for children to play or draw due to lack of proper light. Despite having triple glazing, the room was still too cold at times.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed, but the heating system was not working properly, which made the room unpleasant. The presence of an unnecessary 3rd bed and the confusion with the TV information on check-out were a bit annoying. The service, however, was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly helpful and efficient throughout my stay. The location was perfect, a short walk from Basel center and the Christmas Markets, making sightseeing and shopping easy. The dining experience offered a wide variety of food but felt a bit overpriced and average. Despite some downsides, the hotel's facilities were decent, providing the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
The hotel had beautiful and clean rooms, a nice pool for relaxing, but bear in mind the clothing-optional policy in the over 16s area, which might not be ideal for families or those uncomfortable with that. It was a bit noisy and had a bad smell at times, but overall, a lovely and comfortable stay.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms with a modern design, but the experience was affected by the stuffy atmosphere and a noisy AC unit next to the lift. The staff provided exceptional service with their friendly and accommodating approach. The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot, being close to the center and the zoo. The dining options were extensive and of good quality, though organization lacked in table cleaning. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor issues to consider.
The hotel had massive rooms, though being at the front made it exceptionally noisy both nights. It was comfortable for our group of five, including a person with limited mobility. However, there was no place in the garage for our car, so we had to unload/load on the side, which was not practical.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit noisy being next to the lift, but they did have air conditioning and faced the inner courtyard. The price seemed a bit high for what was offered. The service was excellent, the location was perfect for me, the dining experience was not well organized, and the facilities were average.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are spacious and comfy with well-prepared amenities, but there are issues with noise and maintenance. The service is friendly and helpful, although some facilities may need improvement. The location is convenient for exploring the city and public transport, though neighboring noise can be a downside. The dining experience may be overpriced and mediocre, lacking value for money in some cases.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were amazingly soundproof, but we faced issues with the heating system and had limited natural light, making it challenging for my small kid to play comfortably. The service varied from extremely friendly to unhelpful, with a notable exception at the reception. The location was good overall, but not very close to some key attractions. Dining exceeded my expectations, offering a wide variety of food. Facilities were basic but satisfactory.
